New London Area Food Pantry awarded 2024 Nonprofit of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT

As mentioned previously, our Pantry operated in the basement of the OIC building for over 25 years. After completing our first full year serving our guests at the VFW in 2024, the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern CT awarded our Pantry the Nonprofit of the Year for 2024. The event was held at the Foxwoods Resort Casino on March 25, 2025. We are very proud to receive this award and thank the Chamber for honoring us. Our volunteers are a very dedicated group and we appreciate the service that they provide to our guests.
